Michael

Michael is a highly respected actor with over thirty-five years of experience. Since graduating drama school in 1988, he has worked extensively in British theatre, his most recent role being that of Macbeth for the National Theatre. He also has many Film and TV credits, both domestic and international, including award-winning shows such as The Night Manager, Line of Duty, and Rome, to name a few. More recently, he can be seen as DCI Neil McKinven in crime drama Traces, created by acclaimed author Val McDermid.
A keen musician and lover of the traditional music of the British Isles, Michael was always looking for an opportunity to incorporate music into his job. His show A Dram O’ History has given him the long awaited chance to interweave music and narrative.
Ben
Ben is an Edinburgh based writer, actor and musician. Since 2011 he has worked on several shows for the Edinburgh Fringe, mainly as a script consultant and composer. He has taught drama to children of all ages in schools and clubs throughout the UK, and has led workshops for children with disabilities and other additional support needs. In TV, he has worked for CBBC on Jinx and in 2022 he appeared on Saturday Mash Up as a ghost in Edinburgh’s underground. He also works as a ghost tour guide in the town.

Natalie

Natalie graduated drama school in 1986 and has since had a hugely diverse career in the performing arts, from touring with the great comic Jimmy Logan to dancing in the Albert Hall. In addition to working in theatre, TV and radio, she also has many years’ experience in teaching dance and drama to people of all ages.
Natalie is also trained in the ancient art of Raqs Sharki. Research of this dance form sparked her fascination and subsequent research of the lost history of the Divine Feminine.
Simon
Simon is a writer, performer and comedian who lives in Edinburgh. He has toured internationally in the sell-out award winning show Trumpageddon and more recently created Neurodiverse Review, a review site by and for autistic, neurodiverse and disabled creatives. His love of literature and political history serves as a rich inspiration for Edinburgh Storytellers, developing new shows around Edinburgh’s women authors and the immense impact they’ve had.
